I thought that it was a great series, very different from most as both teams had their moments when they were very disapointing! I guess when it came down to it, Australia just had more bad moments than England! I think that the Aussies batting let them down a lot, particularly in the first innings of the last test, when they seemed to be travelling OK, but then just fell apart! That was the moment they lost the series I feel! I do agree that Mitchell Johnson was disapointing, but I thought their other bowlers performed well considering they are only pretty new to the team! I think the series might have been different had Brett Lee been able to play and if Andrew Symonds had not been a bad boy and held his place in the team. I think they would have added the spark that Australia was missing! If England had not held on to draw that first Test it would have been an entirely different series too I feel! As an Aussie, I am obviously disappointed that England won the series, but when I look back at the records over the last 10 to 15 years, I realise that it cannot continue like that forever and it is good for the game for the Aussies to be weaker!
