I'm so annoyed at work right now. For those who don't already know, I work at a warehouse where there are so many "managers" we're past the point of that cliche "too many chiefs & not enough Indians" . There's only like 2 or 3 Indians to each chief.... & all the chiefs have to muck about in stuff that NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS! Seriously... I work in one department under one manager. We provide the stock which another department ( under a different manager ) picks. These 2 areas have always worked closely together & the job got done efficiently. Now a third manager (who seldom if ever comes out from her mahogany office into the warehouse )decides she's going to change the whole process without really consulting the managers in charge of those areas or the personnel. End result...A big flippin mess. Now someone from a third department has to come from halfway across the plant to set up what the other 2 departments used to do themselves. There's been so many problems & goofs it's ridiculous. We've been all but crippled at times. I could go on for days listing our managements other "BRILLIANT" ideas. Have all companies management gone retarded?

It's all about the ego. If they really wanted to find a better way to do something, they'd consult with all the managers and some representative workers. Something like you have experienced hurts everyone and makes the company lose money.
