Ever feel like life is like an ocean?

Do you ever feel as if life is an ocean, and the tide is pulling you further away and every which direction except the one you want to go... And you fight and fight and get a few feet closer to the shore, but then the tide scoops you back out again into the abyss... And you want to give up, but know you just CAN'T -- that one day you've GOT to make it!?!!?
I have so many great things going in my life right now, but, financially, it seems as though as soon as I get one bill paid off, my car breaks down. As soon as I get a small amount of money saved, the dog needs to go to the vet's... As soon as I seem to be making decent money, my hours get cut.
I just can't get ahead and it's really REALLY getting more and more frustrating and exhausting. ... And depressing.

I think we all feel like that sometimes, and a good cry lets it out. I've been there and got the T-shirt to prove it. :) Just do the best you can and know that in tough times we grow more than we think we do. When it rains it pours but know that the sun while shine again and tomorrow is a new day.

Thanks for the kind words. So far, the crying hasn't helped, but I know brighter days HAVE to be ahead!

I really can understand that. For me, as soon as I get one thing done, something else comes my way. I just can't believe that this year has gone really quickly. It feels like I haven't had a break. It feels that I am always doing work. I have not had a break for the last 3 and half years. Would be nice to have a break but if I do, I don't get paid at all.

Yes we can compare life is like an ocean, it is very deep in the sense that it is foever, sometimes the wave is too much bigger as in life sometimes there are problems, but as the days go by its will become calm as the ocean too.

yep i feel like that a lot.. as soon as i get content all hell breaks loose and i some times wonder if its ME that brings it on or if im just unlucky and cursed with a drama filled life

Yes, absolutely right. And I can relate too to what you have experienced. Then I believe too that life is also like an ocean which is calm and still. Because no matter what trials we face there's always an end to it. Which I think what makes life worth living for.

Hello my friend Bethany1202 Ji,
It has been lottele time, when I saw you earlier. Hope everything is well. Life is really an ocean. Where there are lot many tides, where so many creatures are ready to sallow, but we have to remain quiet and keep swiming to shore safely and steadily. Remmebr, spread my legs within length of bed-sheet, so taht I do not become bare/unpleasent. If something is over-loading the bills, why not get rid off. If one wants to cut-down bills drastically, one should cut-down professional relations with Doctor/Police/Lawer, I am sure 50% saving bill help to go to car-garrage and take your pet to Vet.
