Hi friends, I had attended only 44 discussions now. But my digits near my user name tells that 55. Does commenting on the responses or replying to the comments also counts as the posts? Have a nice day.

Your first comment and your first response on discussions by others causes your number to increase just as a started discussion after it receives a response. All your other activity earns for you but does not cause an increase in your number.

Your number increases: - when a discussion you start receives the first response - when you respond for the first time on a discussion started by others - when you comment for the first time on a discussion started by others. Further responses and/or comments AND comments on responses on your own dicussions do not cause your number to increase but they do produce earnings if they are quality posts.

Yes, but only one time while commenting other's response in the other's discussions. Commenting on our own response or in our own discussions will not add up as posts. Thanks for being here. Have a great day.

I strongly recommend that new people here don't do posts for a while until they learn how Mylot works! When you post there are responsibilities that come with that, giving pluses and minuses, responding to every response and maybe making comments to the responder as we are doing here! If you go out and make a bunch of posts thinking your going to make money, this is wrong, you probably won't get many responses because you don't have many friends and you don't have a reputation yet! But if you happen to get a lot of responses to each post you could get over whelmed trying to respond to everyone. You follow me? So if you just do responses you can go at your own pace and see how others here do their responses, and try to make friends this is real important for your future here! Good luck if you follow these hints it will help you! tdemex In answer to this wonderful post = yes

New users cannot rate until they reach 100 posts so all our efforts in helping them do not get the recognition they deserve but we make some great new friends

Hi tdemex, I agree with you. I also try to extend my friends list. I got already 18 in 11 hours. I also see how the myLot works by attending some discussions along with my friend with his profile and also i had learned many thing from him. After that only i actually signed up. So only i responded straight away after my sign up. You can see all my responses will be more than 4 lines. I try my level best to make friends here and also for the learning.Oh! I cannot make responses as big as yours. Thanks for your valuable comments. I will follow your hints surely. I am waiting for my reputation. Have a great day.

Commenting on own topics and re-commenting on others' topics do not add to the number besides your username. However, it count into your earnings. So, for those who like to reach the star rating, use the emoticons and 'copy&paste', has to focus on responding to others' topics for the additional numbers. Once you are at 500 post and above, you can have the privilege to choose your niche and enjoy what you love here at your pace.

Hi james, You are correct, we can earn from our comments but not earn a posting count in our username. But, you can earn 2 points in a same discussion do you know? Have a great day.

that's what i noticed too, that's why at first i never comment on a comment because i thought I ain't gonna earn a thing but i was wrong..thanks to one of the users who actually made it popular. comments don't count as post but some of the oldies told that you can also earn from it if it has quality. The first response was one hell of a barging in

Hi letranknight, Yes, commenting didn't earn posts but it sure earn us. Commenting do increase our posts only during attending other discussions and in other response. We can earn two posts by attending one discussions. This also encourages to increase our rank and also having interaction with other members and make them friends. Just now after your response i see that first response. Oh! nearly more than 35 comments. I didn't notice that and just continued my comments. Thanks for being here for a while. Have a great day.
