Selecting a friend

I am getting so many friend requests here. Normally i will check profiles and website or blog which they linked with the mylot account. Some times blogs will give more information on that particular user to select him as a user or not. This is my style of selecting the friends.

Hi k4karthik,
I think that is what we suppose to do. We should check the person how request for a friends. We don't want to be a friend with someone who didn't have common interest with us. There is no point to have a friends that we know that we will never had a communication with them.
Even though I didn't check for their other sources, I do check their profile. I will see how active he/she is here. If he/she is an active members and have a same interest with me, I will approve it. Otherwise I will deny it.
