Hi there! I think kissing me on my cheeks, lips and eyes by my better half was one of the most fascinating and heavenly feelings, which could be termed as romantic for me.

My husband doesn't have much romance in him. Sure, one year for our anniversary (10th) he made sure the restaurant reserved our favourite table and had flowers on the table when we got there. But I am usually the one that will go out of my way to put little notes in his lunch and stuff like that. When he went away to see his family one year, the girls and I painted signs that said "I love you" and "I miss you", then took pictures of ourselves holding the signs. I slipped the photographs into his suitcase for him to find while he was away. This is not something he would do. However, last week he went away again to see his family (the kids and I don't much care to go there so he goes alone a lot). He only went because he got a really cheap flight. I hate it when he is gone. This year, one hour after he walked drove out of our driveway a florist delivered a huge bouquet of flowers to our door. My husband had written a lovely little note with it telling me how he would love me forever. The next day he had my daughter go get a card he had written. He said he would be thinking of us and he would call and see how the girls' soccer tournaments went. It was a cute card with a picture of a maze on the front of it. There was a cartoon character at one end of the maze and one at the other. Near the top it said, "Here I am" and at the bottom it said "Here you are" and then on the inside it said, "That's too far... miss you". He has never done anything like that before and I love him for it. It made the first week without him go by so easily, and speaking to him on the phone after the tournaments was nice too. This has been one of the easiest two weeks without him just because he made those thoughtful gestures.
