Farmtown and Farmville

Probably the only reasons why I open my Facebook account. I think its a little bit fun. At least fun enough to drive away boredom for a few minutes. Have tried playing Farmtown or Farmville? Did you like it or is it just a whole waste of time?

I like playing FarmTown and Mafia Wars! Both are addicting but I try to keep in touch with friends I don't see very often too. I just started with Fish World and Roller coaster Kingdom.

Do you have problems with Roller Coaster Kingdom? I find it slows my computer down to a snail's pace, and my friend says it kept making her PC crash.

I only started playing it like, two days ago. It's from the same folks as Farm Town though, and Farm Town was sooooo slow today! I had to keep reloading and that was incredibly frustrating. I think that the apps (most of them at least) are proving to be a lot more popular that expected. Mafia Wars has expanded at least twice...and is preparing to expand to another country. I like Fish World--two days and I'm up to level 7!

A lot of my friends were inviting me to join too but I decided not to. I think having Farmtown and Farmville is already enough. I also tried Yoville but couldn't really grasp the point of the game so I stopped.

Been addicted to Farmtown for almost 2 mos now. So I can say that it is not a waste of time especially when you are bored and feeling lonely - you farm can lift your mood for sure! Haha! By the way, I must admit that I only open my Facebook account because of Farmtown. Happy MyLotting!

me too. I open my FB just for it. Your plants gives you a sense of responsibility. Its like, your conscience couldn't rest until you go and visit your farm and tend to it.=)

We have the same reason for opening our facebook, but I only have Farmtown, I would like to focus on only one. Just recently my husband got curious and joined Farmtown too and he enjoyed it also since he grew up in a real farm and it brought back wonderful memories for him hehe I know that I am not really benefiting anything from playing the game but for me, it makes me feel relaxed.

I agree, it IS relaxing! What took me so long to realize was that my friend's that offered to help were also being selfish (they wanted money--I got money and XP!). It took forever to level up from 32 to 33 last night...I should pay more attention! I also like Mafia Wars--I actually dropped a lot of the stuff I did in the beginning; I think the games are getting better and better every day!

I did get addicted pretty quickly to Farm Town, but I'm level 27 now and it takes SOOOOOOOOOOOO long to level up that I don't check much. I plant a row of pumpkins and come back in 4 days. Farmville has some nice options that Farm Town doesn't, but I'm not as addicted to it.

I see that you can milk the cows in Farmville, so I *might* go back there and try it. I actually sold my animals on Farm Town--they slowed the game down so much! I just leveled up to 33 last night...I was hanging on for nearly the whole day (my XP were missing!), but it's nice to have finally made it. I want a mansion...and that's level 34. I hope they consider expanding it, like they did for Mafia Wars. When I started, it only had NY; now's it's got Cuba. And the latest expansion will be Russia...I really think they should have chosen Chicago, Philly or North Jersey first!

same here. one minute I place the cherry trees here, then transfer it the next. And I don't think I could ever buy a barn house or anything because i often spend my money on things I don't need. LOL. Its fun though.

I love both these games. I also play this one called Country Story. That one has quests and things. I recently started playing farm town on myspace. Started all over but oh well its fun building up your farm.

I was very addicted to Farm Town, as well. After I acquired my mansion, I just set up my farm to look very pretty and deleted all my crops, so now I just have orchards and pastures. :) A friend talked me into playing FarmVille, and although I'm not AS addicted as I was to FT, I still playing it pretty frequently. I'm not entirely sure what my goal is yet, though.

Farmville is really great. I love it in fact. It's so cute. If you're interested, I posted a post on my blog about the profitability of seeds. Check it out here: http://www.gameolosophy.com/games/online/farmville-seed-profitability/

I was addicted to Farm Town for the longest time, I just recently got to level 30 and only do 3 day crops, so I'm only going on there every 3 days. But I still enjoy it. I started FarmVille around the same time as I wanted to keep playing when I had nothing to do in Farm Town. Same thing now though I play 3 day crops there also. For awhile I started using Lil Farm Life, which is pretty much the same thing as FarmVille, but I already had 2 farms to keep up with so I didn't get to far into it. Lol. They are certainly a good way to waste some time. :D
