Haunted Movie In the 1970s or early to mid 1980s

When I was really young in the early 1980s, I remember seeing this movie about a haunted house at the edge of a cliff, there was a woman who used to live there and she committed suicide by jumping off the cliff, I really can't remember anything more than that but it is killing me trying to remember the name of it. If anyone knows can you help?

Could that be the earlier version of The Haunting? I haven't seen the original, just scenes from it.

Someone figured it out for me on askmehelpdesk.com it was called "Lady in White" watched it on youtube and it freaked me out still

I remember that movie also. it is right on the tip of my tounge but I can't remember. I am going to try to look it up I will let you know if I find anything.
