I have seen many people on this site for half of the day throughout the week. Would we have spend time making discussions, responses or comments if there was no Money Factor Involved? What do you think is the reason that keeps most of us in MyLot?

I would be here even if they didn't pay me for it. The mony is just pure icing on the cake!
Before i became a member of mylot a month ago, i was posting on a few other message boards, but found i was getting bored with them, as they weren't very active and thre wasn't much to choose from for discussions to respond to soemtimes.
then my boyfriend sent me a referal to mylot, a site which i had seen him using quite often, and looked interesting...after just a day i was hooked. Now not only do i have a discussion board with lots of topics bieng posted, but i have interesting conversation starters for he and i to tlak about. As i said, the fact that i make a little money and make a little extra for him frombieng his refral. It really isn't much, so i could live with out it, and would be here even if they stopped offering it, assuming there were any other memebers left who were posting interesting topics!!

Getting good quality friends is also important like quality posts made. I think many of us have some nice friends who are there to help you out with discussions & hence it will be another reason for staying with myLot!

I have never run into a problem yet....i have quite a few interests listed, and constantly browse the new and recent topics, and also, anytime i am really having problems finding anything, start going through my friends lists and looking at their profiles and "stalking" them through discussions. Which leads me to another topic, i wish we could organize our friends lists on here. I have about 10 people who i will "discussion stalk" when looking for interesting things...i wish i could put them all on one page, or make a seperate list with them. these ar people who tend to respond to lots of discussions that i find i also enjoy..or who just always have interesting things to say in their discussions.
I mean yes, occasionaly i do take a day or two away from the place, as it can get taxing on my brain, and somedays i am just to tired to even think about responding...but then i find that the next day i am rip-rarin' to go again!!

Its good to know that. by the way i hope you know that earning money here will not be that easy. It needs both Hard work & smart Work.

Time is the key to everything. Well if you have time & with hard work, even if you skip the smart work thing, i am sure you will be able to do something here if you find this place interesting & sticks to it.

I've been here for a while now and my experience says more than 20% of active members on myLot do not post for earning money. And its practically true. Why would a person depend on a site paying 10$ for writing. Its good for part-time earning but really once can't spend whole time writing lest he be a writer in profession!!
I joined this site with a primary intention of making some bucks but later I realised this site is good for gathering opinions, facts and latest information (reviews). This site has become an integral part for me now and I am disillusioned for that earning factor, atleast on myLot.

Ya once you the hang of this place then some does not think much of money. This does not apply to others as their main intention is to make money & a good environment will be an added bonus. say what?

you don't exactly earn a lot of money so i can't say i'm here for the money although i do like to make money online. I've been here for a while and discuss a fair bit and ive only collected just over a dollar. I just like to hear people's opinions and comment on them.

I think most of the person will leave, although I think it's quite a good place for learning, making friends. And for myself, I will not stay here so often.

If you prefer to stay, then you can definitely earn a lot, along with fun. However its not that easy at the beginning to earn much. So which site do you prefer than MyLot

Well, basically i like to discuss and share my interest. That's why i active on many online forums in my country which is no one of them pay the member. So being paid isn't my primary reason to join myLot. It's my hobby and money only an extra for my hobby.

It all depends on how much time one has and what the priorities are I suppose. For me, with my full time job taking most of the hours each working day, I could only be with myLot just a couple of hours a day. I enjoy staying in the community, meeting and making friends with people from countries around the world. Earning some money is an add-on benefit ofcourse !

Ya of-course with limited time, the earnings will also be limited. However i think it will be interesting to work if you are getting fun at the same time.

No can't even think about it!
And because the money factor is involved it acts as a motivating factor and obligation to post quality posts so that we get paid well for it.
Thus the money factor is an important part of myLot apart from its user-friendly website, yahoo-powered search engine, interest tabs etc.

It's true that the environment is cool to work, however don't you feel that the earning potential is too low initially for your time ?

Hi friend..
here in mylot i supposed to create and response to any other discussion because of course of the money, we are stupid if you say that you've been here just to post.
I think all of us here is spending so much time and effort to earn right??
But for me my lot is very nice and good money making site because while i am creating discussion i enjoy and having fun and also get learned.,
The good thing is you enjoy while you'll earning.
happy mylotting.

I do believe that money is a motivating factor for the majority of people that are on mylot, but I am not going to say that money is my motivating factor for being on mylot. There was a forum that I used to be on that I really enjoyed and I spent a lot of time there on a daily basis. They changed over their format though, and now I don't like it so I don't visit there anymore. One of the reasons that I really like mylot is that the format is so similar to the other forum that I used to be on. I will be here money or no money.

Sometimes its really interesting to see that people actually don't care about the money factor & ready to work because its interesting, however I think for those who desperately try to make make money online, the money factor does count.
Also i know of many who got addicted to MyLot!!

Well I wont lie, I joined because who doesn't wanna get paid basically for talking. But I love the fact that I can search the dumbest of topics and to my amazement, someone is talking about it on this site. That's the greatest.

What can we some do if the ran out of topics? They simply choose so silly topics & start discussing. People respond because they get paid for that. In some cases the topic selected might appear silly for someone else.
