Facebook games: Are you an addict?

I'm addicted to a lot of facebook games since my husband and friends have started playing. First it was Mafia Wars... then it was Farm Town... then it was Farm Ville... and most recently it's Restaurant City. It's so much fun because your friends and you can sort of play together as you visit each others farms/restaurants, send each other gifts, and help each other level.
It does get frustrating though as some games require you to have x number of in-game friends or else you can't move up in the world. Like FarmVille requires something like 10 friends before I can get a bigger lot. And the only friends you can have in the game are people you are already friends with on facebook. Well what if I can't convince 10 of my facebook friends to play? Some people add strangers to their facebook accounts just so they have more friends in these games, but I keep my facebook private and secure and don't want strangers in there.
Do you play any facebook games? Do you stick to one or try any that your friends are playing? Which are your favorite? And how do you get your facebook friends to play the game with you?

The only game I'm really into on there is farmtown. Beyond that no. I don't like the idea that they want to have "access" to your information for even silly lil quizes. Who's exactly accessing my info? NO idea. If it's not a reputable company then probably not.

Well maybe your friends haven't dragged you in yet :) I only started playing these games within the last few months, and it was because my husband started playing and telling me to join up. Even so, not everyone plays and I have a ton of people on my friend list that won't sign up for these games even if I pay them!

I've so many friend who's addicted to Facebook, too. Well, I can't really blame them, the games are so much fun! I'm addicted to Mafia Wars and Pet Society. I check them like everyday. Yeah, it's just frustrating sometimes that you have to refer some users to level up and you don't have much friends to refer but nevertheless, I really like playing flash games there. I'm forgetting my problems and pessimistic thoughts for a while.

I just started Pet Society but haven't been back there since the first few days. The reason for that is probably b/c there was only 1 other friend of mine playing it. It's more fun if you have buddies to play with.
Mafia Wars is fun too and I used to do that daily also! Now i check it more like every other day because over time it got boring for me... but I still want to level up :) It sunny how these simple games can give you a mental break for awhile and be so much fun.

A LOT of my friends are addicted to Facebook games. I myself am not. I typically just go to Facebook to communicate with friends. The farm game seems to be the most popular among my friends right now. I just may have to give in one of these days and try it out - see what all the hype is about!

Well it depends if you like mindless games or not :) The farm games are pretty mindless- plow, plant, harvest, repeat! I think the pull is that it is simple and that you can level up and try to be ahead of your friends. I was surprised my husband got into that game b/c there's no action and adventure like the games he usually plays. Check it out, if anything your friends will be happy they have another "neighbor" so they can do more things :)

I play some games on Facebook. I play farm ville everday and pet society sometimes.
