First India, then South Africa and now England. The Aussies being beaten up by the three great sides one after the other. What you think did the start from India motivated other teams to bet the Oz. I am not referring that other teams didn't gave their best to win it but what i am trying to say is after India devastated the Australians, it started. Thanks for responses Happy Mylotting Have a nice day

no i dont think INDIA started it all? i would say the retirement of the important players like GILLY, WARNY,MCGRATH,HAYDEN.DAMIEN MARTIN has started it all because new comers are not as great as these players ...... AUSTRIA was on the top of the world becuase of these great players......so when they are gone AUSTRALI is no more on the top of the world.......but still they are good, tough and hard to be defeated......

In a way its India. But you can also put it like.. the new weak Australian side had their first major tournament against India.. Their decline started from that series.. and don't forget that England won the 2005 Ashes at their home. Its just the retirement of too many legendary players all of a sudden causing this imbalance in the Australian team. For the time being it looks to be the end of Australian dominance. Many critics do say that India and South Africa hold strong favorites to be future dominators of cricket.. I personally don't think any team can dominate cricket as long and powerful as the Aussies did for more than a decade. But lets hope for the best!

Yes India did start breaking the winning streak and jinx of the invincible aussies....however, we should consider the fact that most of the star players were absent in their team. Now seriously the team is low on moral support and they have always been called the arrogant team of the lot, have been losing important series, but i think its not their end yet, they will come back in the 20-20 format. Other teams are also taking the advantage over the absence of the stars and the top players not in good form.....
