Have you ever milked a cow?

Yes. I have milked many times.We have three cows in our home in our own village.Whenever I go there, if is irregular time for the regular persons to come and milk them, I used to do that. But I can not do it as fast as like others are doing.Also we may get some kicks from the cows and the vessel has fallen many times with milk.But it is the interesting thing to do. Some of the cows will not allow the new people nearby to them and will refuse to yield milk even if we try.Nice discussion. But most of the members may unaware of even cows.

When I was growing up I lived in a small country town with farms all around. At school we used to quite often go on field trips to some of the farms and we all got the chance to milk a cow. I found it relatively easy to do and did not find it painful at all, but I suppose if I had to milk a lot of cows at once it might do

No, I have never milked a cow, but I think I could do it if I had to. I don't think that it hurts he cow at all, I think it would be similar to a mother pumping milk for her baby; ther is a sense of relief when the milk goes down.

I, personally, haven't milked a cow. But last year when I went to Minnesota to visit my family who lives on a farm, I watched my cousin milk a cow. It was kinda interesting. I didn't know how the cow would react or if she'd let my cousin do it without any resistance. But she (the cow) didn't seem to mind, after all, if you don't milk them the cow can get sick. I don't have a cow so I guess the answer is no. But even if I have one, I don't think I'll do it. I am not a fan of fresh milk so it's okay for me not to milk it. Plus, I am not interested of getting kick by the cow. We used to have cows and they always on a bad mood. It was scary.

No, I have never milked a cow, but I do not think it is very painful as it is just like when the calf sucks I think. They apply some kind of oil in the udder before milking.

yeah,of course i have. i usually spend two months in my brother's farm,and i milked cows many times. it is pleasant and interesting experience for me.
