Reality shows are everywhere. Yes, it can make you famous, but I think it depends on how much talent and charisma you have to make your career lasts. Talent show is a good start.

I think it does but people into stardom and even makes them a celebrity now. Over the weekend i was in South Florida at a Mall close nearby to were i live were 12 pack and Daisy from Daisy of Love on VH1 were there signing autographs and waht not. They had security guards around them and some police officers so i think the reality TV shows really does get people known and famous now a a days. some of these reality stars have done more than just one show so that is what makes them more famous and more well known with the public. They are doing it because they liked the fame and wanted to be known and famous. Reality TV is what so many people watch and so if people keep doing different shows they know now they are going to get peoples attention and get people to watch them and watch them really become famous for just being on a reality TV show.

these reality shows are giving a platform to those who have the talent and have the ability to perform and entertain the masses. if the reality shows were not there then these people would have remained unknown. but these reality shows are also limited and the people participating are also limited. there are many talented people who don't get an opportunity to reach the auditions and if the make it to the audition centre they cannot make it to the judges, either because of rush or because of time constraints. there are many talents still unfound but those that are found and those who have the ability to go further make the reality shows a ladder to reach success.
