Do you like studying on the computer?

Now I am listening to a class on my computer. I like this kind of study. But the problem is sometimes I could not focus my mind on the lessons. I cannot help surfing the internet for a while, which disturb my study to some extent. What about you? Do you like studying on the computer?

Hello friend,
I tried to study on computer but I cannot focus for even half an hour. I would connect to the net or play some songs or do something similar.It always has been a problem with me. I have got countless e books on my laptop but can't read them, not even two pages at a stretch.

It is similar for me too. We get all types of study material in soft copy and have to read it on the computer. But, like you, my mind always drifts to games and internet surfing and my maximum time gets wasted doing unwanted things.
I have tried and solved this problem by switching off my DSL connection so that I don't have internet connection at all. But, then my mind starts drifting towards computer games. I think I will have to delete all games too or just be more disciplined.

I like it, except for the same reason as you - I get distracted and start to surf. I have no self control when it comes to my computer being in front of me - I have to go to Facebook, to check my e-mail, etc etc. It seems I study for 10-15 mins, surd for 30 then study for another 10-15. But, I do get everything done on time, it just takes longer than it should have.

well..studying on computer saves lots of bucks on books.but not as comfortable as them.books can be read in any posture as u want.but books on computer cant be.its too tedious to sit in one place for desktop n cant manage to be cautious all the time with laptops.

i don't think studying on computer is a good way for me,in college ,we choose to go to classroom to review our lessens but not in dormitory.because there are to much temptation in dormitory ?friends,PC games....just as you say,you surf the internet and we also face the same problem,so i never study on the computer if not necessary

Definitely not! I get distracted much too easily as it is, and having the internet just makes it so much easier to procrastinate. When I want to get some serious study done I either have to shut down my computer or go away from it.

Yes but not all, I just like it if I would be researching for a certain issue or a topic from a subject...
