How much do you text?

So, are you addicted to your phone like most American teenagers today? I know myself how attached my child is to his phone. He sends over 10,000 texts a month. Do your children do the same? Or, do even you text your friends and loved ones this much?

No, I don't text anyone. I'm really not the type of person, who constantly texts or anything like that. My sister is addicted to texting her friends, but that's not the sort of thing that I'm really into.

My daughter topped out last month at 19,991 texts. I also text but I only logged 2000 of them! I find it is so much easier if I only have a quick question. If I need an explanation, then I will call. Thank goodness for unlimited texting! Can you imagine paying 10 cents each? OUCH

No, I don't send text messages often. In fact I hardly send text messages. I prefer to call the person, if I have some message for the person or if I want a chat. Even if there is a festival and want to send greeting, I prefer to call the person.

I personally am not that big of a fan of sending texts. I use it only when needed. In a month I probably send around 20 texts. I use the Internet as a means of communication as it is much cheaper. The keyboard and the bigger screen makes things a lot easier.

When I was single, I text a lot. But now that I'm married, text exchanges usually happen between me, my husband and a cousin who looks after my son while we work. But on an average I only get 1 to 5 messages daily. We all use the same network so we can save more since we can make unlimited calls and have unlimited texting. My 5 year old son figured how to text on his own. I was really amazed, he can do that at such a young age. He usually text sweet messages like "I love you", just this morning, he gave me a graphic rose. I guess he is tinkering his nanny's cellphone again.

I don't text that much, only when m friend will text me, which is once or twice a week. Once my grandson gets his cell phone, then I will probably be texting him. He is 14, and he loves to text, and me being a granny, I don't do that much, but when I do it, I just love it. I have so much fun with it. My daughter thinks it is funny that I text, but hey, I have unlimited text messaging, so why not? I might as well use it. When my friend and I test we don't text all that long, but we do have fun while doing it. Have a good day, and happy mylotting.
