According to some research, the best position to sleep is: SLEEP ON YOUR RIGHT! YES, SLEEP ON YOUR RIGHT OR ON YOUR BACK! This is because if you sleep on your left, or on your stomach facing downwards, you are putting extra weight on your heart. This is No Good for the heart. One more thing, if you sleep on your back, make sure you don't put hands on your chest, the pressure unto your heart again. That's why some people might have nightmares or encounter sleep paralysis. For me, I personally sleep on 2 comfortable pillow and hug one pillow (between my two thighs)facing my right or on my back. Just try it and I would like to wish you all a "Wonderful Sleep and Sweet Dreams"...

I would figure laying on your back would be the most healthy and beneficial as your less likely to move. Having your head turned to the side while laying on your back would be even better because it would be a better way to breath rather than just keeping your head up. unfortunitly i can't do this as i wasn't born to sleep like this. i naturally lay on my chest to sleep with my head turned to the side(duh). i don't think this is one of the most healthy forms of sleeping but instead is probably the least healthy form. i can however sleep on my side to get to sleep which is second best but not my pure natural way to sleep but i got to be tired enough. the only time i have been able to fall a sleep on my back(very rare for me)is when i'm more tired than i can possibly be which is pass out tired for me. i can only remember a few times of my self doing this.

Hi, Sleeping on your back with your hands in your side is ideal they say, but to sleep sideways is good too. Lying on your chest is unhealthy or to pull the blanket over your face while sleeping is bad too.

a chinese master say that sleeping right sideways is good and your body don't straight. It keeps a 45-degree angle.

For me personally, I have to sleep on my side, somewhat on my stomach with my top leg drawn up beside me, somewhat like a tripod. I sleep like this because it is the only way that I can sleep that doesn't cause me to have back pain. I also have one arm under my head at all times. I honestly don't think that there is one specific sleeping posture which is the best for people to use while they are sleeping. It is a matter of what is best for their body type.

To be honest I don't really know in what position I am in while im at sleep......i do know that when i am TRYING to sleep i sleep sideways, yeah that's my usual habit but then when I get up in the morning sometimes I manage to reach the other side of the bed.....but when I am very tired and in deep sleep sometimes I just sleep in that same position and be like that.....but I read somewhere that you should sleep straight with your back facing the bed.....it ensures proper blood circulation to the body and some other benefits !!!!
