WIFE SWAP Anyone?

ABC has a show called wife swap, the pretense is that two families switch Moms for two weeks. Only they don't get CHOOSE where they're going.
Would you ever do this? trade families, just for the experience? or maybe for the money? I heard it pays 20 thousand... sure sounds tempting!!!

We have had that here for a while. Usually they take the most unlikely families and swap them. Personally it has taken 23 years for my wife, who I grovelingly refer to as "The Boss" to train me to be her obedient servant. Why on earth would I want to swap her for someone else - however briefly?

This is rather a unique idea and I think it is only good for reality TV show but not good for real situations. I guess families will always prefer their original moms over somebody else that will pretend to their mom. But for reality TV its all for the cash prize then its worth the try.

I've seen this show before and it's actually very entertaining! I wouldn't do it if it was swapping a Wife for another one though, that just makes no sense to me. Maybe if us men could trade the Missus for a sports car or a boat or something like that, we'd be a little more enthusiastic about it.

I did watch the show and I feel sorry for some wife that end up in a family that has no discipline while her real family is way opposite. It must be strange to be in a house full of strangers and you're the mom in the family. I don't know about the money part but I think there is. Who would do it for free?
Apart from this show, I did watch a show where the wives were send for a holiday and let the dads that charges. It was fun to see how they struggle, especially in a family that depends on the mom too much.

Would you have any fears over the influence this new "family" member might have? What do you think you could bring to this other family that yours has in abundance?
6 kids..... Wow... I have 6 dogs and they drive me batschlit crazy most days, can't imagine them being actually kids... You have my undying admiration!

I started watching this show when my wife and I was fighting over the remote, she won of course... Now I`m hooked. What gets me is that it`s only for two weeks and these men fight it. Why did they sign up to do it if they didn`t want to follow the rules? I`d love to to do it. The woman taking my wife's place would love it. On the PC most of the day. I do clean but Im not a clean freak. These men on this show are ridiculous. It`s only two weeks for petes sake.
