Largest amount of money found

I found over 400.00 dollars in front of a car. I think somebody that was driven the car dropped it. I waited to return it because I felt bad. No one showed up for about 20 minutes so I left and was 400.00 dollars richer.

$532.00 and I turned it in to the hotel staff who put it in a safe and when the 30 days was up and it was still unclaimed I went to get it and there was only $100 as the hotel staff had stolen the money. They were laughing about it too. If I found money again, I would not turn it in, I would just give my number and tell them if anyone is missing any money to have them call me and I would not tell them the amount either. You cannot trust anybody these days.

My husband and I have what we call a *found money jar*. And anytime we find money we put it in the jar. We have been doing this since we have been married, and we try to *outfind* the other! So far my biggest amount was a one dollar bill:) Well, this past summer he got me with finding a $5 dollar bill.

I found $109 dollars in a laundry dryer a couple years ago.When i found the first dollar the thought that perhaps I had left it in my pocket.Then i found 3 more dollars,then a five and finally with the last shirt I pulled out, a hundred dollar bill.I know I didn't leave that in a pocket!

The most I ever found was $40. It was back when I was in college. I also found $20 once and $5 a couple of times. I find coins every couple of days. Especially dimes.

maximum is 1$ ppl r veryyyy holdy of their money here DARN lol.. pppl love their money around here i guess. noone everrrr loses money or leaves it on the street... or they dont have enough lool.. and i only found 1 $ oonce and 0.5$ another time!

I found a $50. bill one time outside on the floor.

I found £17 (about $30) in front of my house. A £10 note(bill), a £5 note and two £1 coins all folded together.

400 swedish kronas which is approximately USD 40. Found it some 5 years ago - behind the garbage can outside the house, at a time when I had no money and desperately needed it for food, amazing isn't it?
