I used to have but nowadays I got used to it. I think it's just a matter of practicing. Some peopl have real phobia of it, then I don't know how they can get over it. But my fear wasn't that big. I was a shy kid and now I'm not, 'cause I learned to approach people. I think it's just a matter of getting used to it. I have to do a lot of public talking in my college, so I had no choice but to get along. Hope I helped.

Yes. Even if I feel confident amongst a crowd of people, speaking in front of them with a mike can be very devastating for me. My hands shake and my voice shakes as well. And sometimes I even forget what I'm talking about. There are times when I stutter as well. I don't know how to conquer stage fright but I do know that if there is no choice and I have to speak in front of a lot of people. I make sure to study everything about the subject at hand and what I'm gonna say I take to heart and when the time comes I take a deep breath and let it all out.

I used to have butterflies when I was younger and in school, but I don't anymore. The last time I talked in front of a crowd was a packed gymnasium at my daughter's school where I was presenting awards. Advice?! Be prepared. Put the main gist of what you want to say onto index cards, and highlight the main points so you don't get lost where you are. Always remember, the people in the crowd are just people, and they're probably sitting there thinking 'gee, I'm glad I'M not up there!' One thing I found helpful was to find one person in the sea of faces and talk like you were talking to them. That lets you tune out all the other people and somehow eases the nerves some. Good luck!

hello there! it's but normal for a beginner to have butterflies in the stomach everytime he/she speaks in front of a crowd. the only advise i could give is to face that fear head on, meaning, expose yourself to public speaking all the time for you to get used to the idea, in such a way, you will conquer your fear in the process.
