I am confused about a friend

Hello jugsjugs. I think that it is somewhat hard for her to improve her life quality if she just hopes to improve without real action for it. After all, hope is hope while action makes a big difference. A hope without a real action does not make much difference. I love the saying that God helps those who help themselves. I would have to say just keep on being a friend to her. Sometimes we don't always get up and move and do things when everyone else thinks that we should. For some it's that just right opportunity that has to come along and then once she see's it hopefully she will get up and go after it. Happy mylot, great post!

..well, maybe she has not yet reach maturity in mind.. she cannot still determine the two different sides of things.. Or maybe she has other experiences in life that hinders her from realizing those things.. What you can do is continue to guide her until she will understand what you want to point out with her.. After all, a friend is a friend.. Teach her how to improve herself and let her realize what she is doing and how she is behaving..

I think it's a matter of what is called comfort zone, we all have one and even though we can dream about a different type of life, we feel so safe in continuing to do what we are use to that we sabotage any effort to change.
