It's a good news. I wish you all the best on your new job. Although you are in training position now, but you must trust yourself that you can made it. Working as a call center staff is a challanging career. You will meet by voice alot of people from different backgound and attitude. Sometimes you will meet with kind person while on the other time you will meet with annoying person. But this is all of your job's risk. Every job have its own risk. The most important thing to have for a call center staff is patience. No matter how annoying is the people you meet, you must remember that even only a little anger from you can harm your career. So, this is self motivated job. Perhaps other people will say if being a call center staff is a common job, but i don't think so. Call center is the most important part of a company which serving public. Good luck for you new job and i hope you'll soon get a fixed position, not only as training staff. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Hi rubypalmes I used to be working for some call center companies in the past. Its not easy to work on a graveyard shift especially if you are used to have a good night sleep at night. I can say that even though call centers provide training, it doesn't mean that you can get the job as a call center agent. My childhood friend has undergone trainings with two call center companies but she didn't make it to graduate from the training. She got the job from the third call center company that she had. You need to get good grades so that you can't be eliminated from the training and you can be a call center agent in the near future. Always listen to the attentively to your trainors during training. You can't learn everything in the training as you will learn everything once you are on the call center floor and taking calls already. Experience is the best teacher.

Hi!! I know that working in the call center is not that easy, first because of the dialect and most expecially the accent is the most important thing that we need to learned and for me i'm quite hard for it, that's why i am trying to go in for the experience that they give to me. thank you for the nice and good advice, don't worry i would do that, thank you for responding. happy mylotting.

Hello rubypalms. Congratulations on getting a new job on a call center training. A new job is usually exciting. I wish you would love your new work there. It is three weeks since I read this discussion, which means that you have been working there for three weeks. I wish you all the best, my dear friend.

Congratulations to you. Once I also worked at the call center, and for me its not an easy job. There are so many type of customers to handle. I know the money is awesome, so does the work. I'm not at the executive level, only at lower level entry and I heard from the executive, the job is really tough. Anyway, if you really set your mind to it, I believe you will do well. Good luck
