Has Anyone Tried Article Income Before?

I recently found a website that is one of those websites where you write and submit articles. If accepted, the article gets posted and you make money. From what I read, I don't think you make money from the article itself but from the ads (the site says you get 50% of the money the ads generate). I was just wondering if anyone has tried this website before? There are a few questions I have that I did not see answered. Like how do they pay you? Is it through PayPal? Is there a minimum amount you have to wait to get before getting paid? What IS the minimum, if so?
