These past weeks My DSL of PLDT had problems with cables that had their international connections. If the connection wasn't slow, it wasn't running at all. So I'm thinking of buying a globe broadband tattoo so if it happens again i wouldn't go crazy. you guessed it. i am such an internet addict. What my problem is how will i know if this stick is fast enough to satisfy my internet addiction..

Definitely not good for you, You better stay with your DSL Connection. Have PLDT fix them as soon as possible.. Broadband Sticks are not fast enough especially for an internet freak like you.. I guess you just need to pressure the PLDT technicians in order for them to fix it immediately.. Chow!..Happy Mylotting!

I would still prefer a DSL line if you are a heavy internet user. For me since I spend my weekdays mostly on work and when I get home I barely go on online, I just use a prepaid kit, I have globe and sun. I think sun is more affordable as they have 50 internet card good for 6 hours of internet. So far the connection is quite fast in my area and wireless internet speed depends on how many are using in your area.

The usb stick is reliable for internet connections. If you're withing Metro Manila, you shouldn't have any problems with the speed of connection. I live in San Mateo and we are in a hilly place which means there will be so much interference in the signal. I used it for two months until Globe installed regular lines here at our place. If its just for chatting, emails and internet programs that do not require a lot of bandwidth, this will do.

Like you, I had some problems with PLDT's MyDSL, so I decided to buy Globe Broadband Tattoo. But it's not as fast as you would want it to be, especially during peak hours when supposedly more people are logged in. The high-traffic in connection could be a problem and could sometimes disconnect your connection. It's even worse when it's raining, it's harder to connect and connection si really slow. If you're desperate like I was, then it would probably have to do, that is until you get your DSL connection back.

I heard from a friend that Globe's broadband tattoo is not really reliable when it comes to connecting with the internet. smartbro seems to be a better choice in comparison. i suggest that you conduct further research so you can get a better idea of what is the best option for you. good luck!
