Hi colydf, I don't know why everyone doesn't give a best response, we are advised to do it, we all presumabely like to receive them, so why not make someone else happy by awarding one yourself. People may remember you did so and turn to your discussions again but it isn't about that, it is a courtesy to do so. I think that by doing so you are doing as you are asked to do and it may enhance the number within your star, but I'm just guessing there.

That was the same question I'd asked here before. Everyone said that it is not necessary. It is up to you to resolve it or not. About "best response" it would just maybe a gratitude you've give to the one who posted the best response which you think it deserves the topic you gave best response....cheers

If you want to, why not. unless you feel that one of the responses is the best answer to your discussions. and you don't have to rush in because it takes time and you might comment on a response that might even close to your discussion. i haven't given any resolve to all of my discussions.

Though it is not necessary to resolve the discussions, it is better to do that and it will make the other members to participate more and more. Also I have red in some discussions, that awarding best response makes us to earn few cents. But I don't have any personal experience with that. Once I tried for that. I selected only the best responses to my discussions. But on that day unexpectedly I made two comments to some responses while marking the BR and hence I was not able to distinguish the earnings. But I will do it one day and let all the members know about this.
