hi friends, this question came to my mind this morning because i noticed the bedroom of my brothers, and it's really dirty.. can't boys clean their own rooms?? do they wait that the helper will do it?? ..for me you should clean it all by yourself because it's the place for you to sleep on the whole night and also day time.. i am proud to say that i have a clean room, and i love to be there the whole day.. i clean them everyday, and everytime i will wake up i will make sure that i will clean the bedroom first.. i arranged everything on it.. how about you friends?? please feel free to answer here.. happy myLotting..

Hi janebeth Waw, so you are a clean-lover, just like my mom! I admire you, people who clean their room daily Yes,janebeth, I agree with you. Room is a place where we spend most of our time. Even if you're a busy people, still, you sleep in your room, so the room condition is important for someone to have a good sleep. How can somebody sleep well in a dirty room? I personally can't! Of course I clean my room everyday. But although my room clean (the floor, the bedroom and things in my room clean) but inside my drawer is so messy! Hahahaha.. I throw every unused things inside my drawer and sometimes I find difficulty when try to search for things. It's so messy until I feel lazy to clean and arrange all the things inside it! Landed in your discussion now, maybe tomorrow is the time to clean it! Sometimes when I go to the college in rush, my maid help me to clean my room. About the boy's room, I've read in one psychology book that cleaning considered as not really important activity in boy's mind. Not all boys/men, but almost all men like this. They prefer to do something more important, like doing task or take a rest. That's why most of boy's room are dirty!

I guess I'm the female who defies the rule because my room barely borders on tidy, no less clean. I tell me friends to come over often as an incentive for me to clean. Lol. Works. Sometimes. And I can't blame it on being busy, either, because the more I have to get done, the more I tidy up, ironically.

hi preneur, so bad to hear that and to the point that you are a girl.. but i can't blame you because i think you are a very busy person and don't have the time to clean your room.. but if you will try to clean it for just one day, you can say that it's very very nice to sleep over a clean and fresh room...

i can only say that boys are different from girls. boys mostly are rugged persons and happy-go-lucky too. girls are more responsible in the house and something like that.

yes you are right, but you boys need to practice on how to clean your rooms and do not depend always on your partner to clean them up..

boys will not clean their room often, i personally think that if you put some stuff on your bed , or on the floor which is not just lying there because of no reason will look dirty to others, however when you know that it does not matter if its removed or not, then why do you bother removing it from there, also if you know that even after the place is cleaned you are going to place that stuff there itself, then wats the point cleaning it....hehe

you have also a point about that, but still if you will not put your things on their proper places of course it is called dirty.. for example your socks, you will just put them on the floor or on the bed, it's not nice to look at it.. so better put them on their proper places so if you will look for them again you can easily locate them..

hello, yes.. even though sometimes I am busy, I tend to clean the two or three times a week. I have friends who clean their rooms sooo well.. than I am.. Perhaps I could call them Obsessive Compulsive.. they tend to fold their hanky in a delicate way, clean their doorknobs three times or more..

let me no it's not perfect, i clean it up and in less than 5 mins it's a mess. no need to guess who did it, clothes left out and other things i get annoyed at it. so my side is ok but the other side leaves a bit to be desired. my sons room doesn't look to bad at the moment.

Hi janebeth, When you live with a hubby its doubbly hard to keep in tidy, its is clean but gets very untidy as hubby does take his clothes off and leave it where he drops them, I am always going behind him and one day I refused to pick them up and will leave it there, now he have to keep things clean and tidy. Yes Of course! ! Hi Janebeth, I have a lazy brother too. His bedroom is never never been tidy up by himself. He waits till my mum or his girl friend to do that for me. I also don't understand why boys is so lazy to do house works and more over the bed room is theirs, what is so tough to tidy up a bed room. For me, I clean my bedroom every day, in the morning and before going to bed. Once everybody ( my hubs and kids) wake up, I will arrange the bed nicely and start dusting the room. Then I need to sweep away the dirty and last mope the floor. At night, I do the same chores again because I just want to make sure we have a clean bedroom to sleep whole the whole night.

Yes my bedroom is clean...I do a daily bed making and dusting on the furniture. I vacum the carpet every other day. Why you ask...My hubby and I have allergies. If I don't keep the bedroom clean then while we sleep we are breathing the dust that is travel thru the air. We will wake with stuffy nose or sneezing fits. If you suffer from allergies you might to consider your bedroom as a beginning source. That means you guys too....

hahaha. My room is a clutter. Because my mind is so focus on earning and preparing things i need to do for my work. In the process my room is sacrificed. I'm too tired often to think of cleaning it. But eventually i will...

Hello! For some reason and I didnt ask for it when I was in High School My mom would clean my room and leave it spotless. She even made the bed each and everyday and that was very nice of her . And yes after High School I for the most part would keep my room very clean and it would look real nice and smell just awesome with all my perfumes and candles that my bro would always sneak in and just chill and watch tv . Yes , his room was a holy mess!!! It was that bad LOL.

I too like to have a clean bedroom, I make the bed immediately I get up and clean the room as well, I hate to see anything not in its place and arrange everything in order, my husband also is very specific in maintaining a clean room and a clean house so he too takes the initiative to keep the house clean overall.

Girls have all the time in the world to clean up their mess and this shows in the way they keep themselves. If they can spend more time in their makeup, I'm sure they wouldn't mind spending more time cleaning their room. Boys will be boys; spontaneous, lively, inattentive, and not-my-problem attitude. It is these traits which distinguish a man from a oman, and so, they hardly give a thought to keep their surroundings clean. I speak for myself and not others, so please don't be offended if you don't fit this description.

Yes, men are aways lazy to make clearning. If I do not back home for 2 days, my home will be a mess. At that time, I have to tidy all things up no matter how tire I am.
