I can explain it to you but it is all explained in the FAQs too. That number is made up of: - the discussions you have started that have earnt 2 responses (or 1 response + 1 comment) - the dicussions on which you have responded and /or commented once. When it reaches 100 you will have a star. It does not reflect on your earnings because it is not necessarily the total of all the posts you have made. For example, when you comment on responses on your own discussion they are not included in that number although they WILL be earning for you. My friend, these type of discussions are usually deleted.
