hello i am going to buy a graphics card for my pc the dealer told me that my motheboard supports pci-e card he offered me to buy nvidia 8600gt but there are two types ddr2 and ddr3 for which one i should go

hey....we have so many updated graphic cards right now,all with great performance and great price. why don't you take a look at nvidia GT250, 260, or 275? they all great pci cards with reasonable price. if you still interested in nvidia 8600 gt, i would say that ddr3 type is better, it would help you to play games because it's faster than ddr2 type. just go for it!

Go for DDR3 as it is the most recent graphics memory in the market also it has higher data rate compared to DDR2.

how about nvidia 9000gt series, i do have one. now they are much more cheaper than when i bought for the first time. they can handle all gaming graphic requirement almost perfect nowadays. maybe 9600gt will be suitable for you.
