How many times a week

do you go to get groceries? It seems about twice a week at my house we are stopping at the grocery store to pick up something and most of the time it is to stop and get milk. In a month its probably around 10 times we go to a grocery store to get things. Of course you forget something the first time you went in the week so you have to go back later in the week to get it.

We usually go once a week but if we need something like milk or something like that then obviously we will stop in and get it. But since it's only the 2 of us we don't go through a lo of groceries.

I need to start budgetting a date to do my grocery shopping. I work for a grocery store, so its the last place I want to hang around after work. I usually end up going to the place across the street instead to pick up things when I need them, because I lack transportation and won't carry groceries a mile home. I think I average about once a month when I comes to getting a lot of groceries at once.

IT all depends.. hehe ^_^ Because i'm not the main person in the household to buy groceries, and thus i need not go as often.. haha =D MOst of the time, i'm just doing window shopping in supermakets, and be buying what i feel like eating over the next few days.. lol =D It's more for myself, rather than for the family.. hehe

Since I am out and about everyday for work, I tend to to shopping about every second day. I kind of like it that way because then I get fresh foods every couple days and also if anything is on sale I won't miss out on it because of only shopping once a week. I find in the long run I spend less money this way too, because I don't buy too much of the fresh stuff, only enough to last a couple days, so i don't end up buying too much and throwing it away because it got too old before we finished eathing it.

We stop buy the grocery a lot before going home after work, so maybe we go about twice a week as well on average. However, we mostly just buy some stuff. Once a month though, we go to the supermarket to do some serious grocery shopping.

We go in several times a week. I work in a grocery store, so when I get off I usually buy a few things I forgot to get.

I work in a supermarket 4 times a week so I do little shops often so that I don't have to spend my day off shopping. I can use my days off to do the housework, go out to town or simple relax. I will also use the local shop if we do need milk, bread or something and it is my day off.

I usually go shopping once a month. I shop at costco and sams club. Since im buying in bulk i rarely run out of anything. Except perishables. Which is also the thing that maks me go shopping. I have a chalk board in the kitchen whenever i run out of or low on something i write it there. Then before going shopping i write it ina notebook. So i dont forget stuff that way. I dont have a car so it would really be a pain to forget anything.

We usually goes twice a month or so and stock up - we freeze what we can and only go for milk, fruit and veggies about once a week. We use what we have in our cabinets before we go shopping again. Usually if we forget something its to bad unless its something we really need.

I usually go to the store a couple of times a week. Once a week to a bigger storefor for most of the weekly needs and then once a week to smaller stores for more fresh produce and juices. Then there are the times when I am just craving something I didn't buy (usually ice cream) and I will go to the store again to pick it up.

I go to get groceries once a week normally. There are some weeks though that I might have to go twice because I forgot to put something on the list that can not wait until the next week.

I always do my large grocery shopping once a week on Wednesdays as Krogers (my preferred store) gives a senior discount with saves me a good bit of money. Sometime I have run to a nearby store if I have forgotten something but that is very seldom.

we're almost the same but i'm trying to cut out on frequent trips to the grocery since it always costs more than what is intended to be spent for the groceries. i just try to buy at the corner store or make do by being creative with what we have here in the house.

My husband and I usually go to the grocery every week. We usually do it on weekends, either Saturday or Sunday. We usually buy food for the week. A must for our grocery are milk, egg, canned goods, vegetable, fruits and fresh chicken.

Yes there are times when we forget to get the most required item when we go to a grocery and we have to go back the next day or sometimes two or three times in a week and this happens to me often.

Hi, The same thing used to happen with me when I was newly married. But later on slowly . You know my hubby he cannot wait much while I am in the Grocery shop. He gets irritated that why the hell you are so late? From that day onwards my list is ready by the end of the month. I make two lists. One for those things which I require once in a month and another list which is a weekly one. In our Ration we get 10 litres of milk for a week. I usually go to Grocery to buy Pulses, All purpose flour, Spices etc.Now I don't miss anything. I make a list and buy only those things which are in the list. And if I require anything which is required by me and not mentioned in the list then I do surely buy those stuffs.
