If you are a faithful watch like me then you may also feel like i do that the current storyline is lingering on and getting boring.What do you think the writers can do to get the edge back?

I'm hoping for a good heated Viki/Dorian battle in this upcoming election thing, those are always fun. They need to come out with Tea's secret which I believe might be Todd's kid or something like that. John & Marty equals boring, John & Blair rock! Do something for God's sake with David and Bo's relationship, Bo has been ignoring it for long enough. Stacy needs to go completely psycho like in a Margaret Cochran kind of way, forget this whole boring baby thing lets see her kidnap Rex or something like that. Hate to say it but psycho's always spice up the show and make it fun to watch. I loved the whole Margaret thing and the Spencer Truman thing too people you love to hate.

I ditto everything you said....
They do drag the storys out so long. They did that time travel thing and it was so good and then they just dropped it...and when they brought it back up, it was like..."oh by the way... if you happen to remember, but no problem if you don't..."
The whole show is boring...can't even think of a line I like...Viki running for Mayor.. you know she will win but only after constant attacks from Dorian. Ho Hum.. been there done that.

They need to end the Stacy pregnant story but are apparently going to extend it with Stacy and Fish getting together after drowning their sorrows at the bar and Stacy will get pregnant. About the only thing they could do at this point is to bring in some more new characters with stories that are better than the Stacy one or the Fish/Kyle one.
