I have the habit using a rist watch, in watch I have date and time. If I forget the watch then I will ask the person who is near me without any shame. Sometimes a day starts with forgetting something and I keep on frogetting everything on that day.. It happens generally if I think anything serious about any issue.. But it is very rare to happen...

you are welcome and follow my theory this will help you not to forget anything. First one will remember watch to put on hand when this become habit then automatically, you will find the date on the watch daily even if you forget. seriously try and see.

Generally this happens when you are thinking something and you do not have any media to know the date and day. It always happens to all. But now-a-days most of us have mobiles which we generally do not forget when going out.So that solves the problem.Even if you forget mobile banks have calenders which can help you.

I never wear a watch especially when I go out. Luckily, banks that I often go to have clocks on them so I don't have to ask other people for the time. The time, date and the exchange rate is always posted on the wall.

Wow you are very luck that your bank keeps everything update for you to see. In my bank, I have to ask others sround me because Calenders are not fixed properly and even if it is fixed, the calender date is not change or updated by the staff..

Hello madhuvamsi! I don't have a habit of wearing a hat too and sometimes, like you I don't know the date is. One time when I went to the Guidance and Counseling seminar, the lady gave me a form to be filled up and of course the first thing I have to do is to put the date but stupid of me, I don't really know so I ended up asking the secretary what the date was..hehehhe

Yeah when young people forget the dates then a straight glare is presented by the person who is telling the date. I feel embraced to ask the date sometimes because I worry what will the other person think of me..Thanks for sharing your views..

Hi, I sometimes did, because I also did not wear watch. I sometimes even asked the time too especially when I am standing in the train (Light Rapid Transit - LRT), with one hand holding the rail and it is quite cram & difficult to open my handbag to check the time and date from my handphone... Most of the people that I met are very friendly, they just smile and tell me the time or date. Last time when I was wearing my watch, there are always people askeing me for the time All the best and hope to hear your views on my topic too!

I do it all the time, especially when I go to write a check at the supermarket. Some of the cashiers that I go to regularly just tell me what the date is as soon as I take out my checkbook - lol!

Why do you think that they think in negative manner about. The are many who forget the dates it does not mean they are idiots.. It is just we go into different thoughts which make us carried away and sometimes forget these little things in life.. I only think that Supermarket people do face lot of customers who forget dates and reminding them will makes them habit to tell each and every customer about the dates..

lol - you know, I hadn't thought about it like that. I just thought they were being nice, but they could be saying "This is the idiot that can never remember the date"! Oh well, either way they remember me, so I guess that is a good thing.

It´s a normal thing for me as I am retired. That means that every day is thesame except when I have company or an appointment. As for a date in the Bank, I have no problems as every Bank in my country has a huge clock on the wall. So, if I´m making a deposit or anything, I just look around until I see it. Many people have asked me what time it is too and it´s no gtrreat deal. Happy posting!

You are retire so people will do understand but what if a young person forgets date. It will be very irritating for others to tell on a busy day. I know there will be big clock but it will not show the date if I am not wrong..

It only happened on me one time. Now, i always preparing my banking form on my house. I always take some form to home everytime i go to bank. I also know that there's a calendar on the bank's wall so i can simply look that the calendar. I think nowadays such situations getting even easy to solve because we can easily checking for what date is today just from our mobile phone. I'm sure that everyone who go to bank must have their own mobile phone. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

yeah it is very good habit to fill up the form in the home and submit in the bank straight away. I too do this but even in the home too I have to look at my mobile or Newspaper to know the current day date. thanks for your views...

I think this did not happen to me yet because most of the banks have the current date displayed on the wall and I can also check on my cellphone to check on the current date. But it is perfectly alright to ask and everybody is friendly about it.
