is it safe to use a contact lens?

hi jane. i have problems with my eyes so i have to wear glasses before. but when the problem got worse, an eye expert recommended to stop wearing the glasses. she never mention about contact lens, either. so i don't wear lenses also. i think it is safe, though i find some people stopped using their lenses. there was one guy who have lots of contact lens with different colors, so i guess it is.

hi Jane, I wear glasses and wouldn't wear contact lenses mainly as I hate anything being put in my eyes even eye drops! Plus when wearing contact lenses sometimes I have heard that the eye can dry up and it is hard to get the lens out..also a friend of mine was out with me one day and her lens fell out! What a predicament cos she couldn't see what she was doing properly at least with glasses you can put them in a case and carry them with you wherever you go and having a spare pair is good too I always do that incase of mislaying where I go until I can go and get them again..LoLo

Hi janebeth, I don't wear conact lenes at all but I have a reading glasses, don't listen to heresay, find out about whether it is good of bad fro the optition, they know best. Tamara

sometime, if I tired use minus glasses, I use a contact lens. I not use it for daily. all this time use contact lens, for me, is it safe but for daily, I dont know. But I believe, Its safe as long as wearer diligent cleaning it.

Advantages are:appearance look even better,is sometimes more convenient than the framework of the glasses(such as during exercise).eyes,wearing glasses will not be long deformed.The disadvantage is that:To give emphasis to health,or a variety of keratitis,conjunctivitis what would come to her door,cleaning and pick,wearing a very trouble,wearing a long time,the eye will appear dry situation..
