Love is blind. Love conquers all. Are you familiar with these sayings?? But is Love really?? Anyone can give a meaningful descriptions of what ove is, it depends on how you look at things. Some might say that one can only give meaning to this word once you have experienced it but for me even if you dont utter a single word you can still define what love is. I believe that love is everywhere. From the moment we are conceived by our mothers, we fell love. When we look at the things around us, we see love, we just have to learn to appreciate things that God made especially for us. Just seeing a flower blooms, we smell love and could almost taste its sweetness. You see, love is like our senses, it lingers everywhere, just like God, He is just around. So just a two cents of advice, do not take things for granted and let us always see good things in everyone. It is so priceless to be a blessing to other people.

What a beautiful post, panget! I couldn't agree more. There are so many forms taken by love, and we need to embrace them all!

When something attracts your whole being and you respond to it with nothing left of your self is love. You may not be reciprocated and you go nuts, it is still love.

I am not an idealist...but the closes thing i can associate with love is that it comes with a lot of tolerance... if you don't feel so much towards the other person.you can't tolerate him/her that much.. from his/her presence, to his/her mannerisms...... but you see..when you love a person, you can close your eyes to all the things other people might hate him for...

I personally am an atheist and do not believe in god, but I do believe in love. To me, love is when you feel that your world would crash around you if you lost something (lover, pet, car, whatever). You should be willing to die or kill for that person, thing, etc. If you are not willing to give your own life for it, then it has a price for you and therefore is not truly love. Just one atheist's opinion :)

I agree to the wonderful words above. It is needless to say the very essence of nature is rooted to the emotion of love. I believe in the philosophy that states without love their will not be any living being or even the Earth will exist. If u dont agree then have this small experiment take a small plant in a pot and place it somewhere u can see it daily and the plant can have enough sunlight, and water it daily. And one more thing is to curse that plant vocally daily dont show any affection to it for about a month. Then just see does it survives after being cursed daily by u. I should tell u that small experiment can explain the meaning of love to anyone for everyone.
