Sometimes this is tru as we get to see our partner happy and smiling always but it does not mean we have to "sacrifice" our own happiness in order to keep the other happy ...
Then we can see our partners having fun with other man/woman or even insist on having a 2nd partner while we are still there - they will claim that gives them the happiness
2ndly what happens if our partner does not feel the same way as we do ??
I believe, both partners mush come to terms to be happy together

It is a very sweet definition of love. I toatlly agree with you. You can't be happy when your partner is sad or in trouble. Your happiness is correlated to your partners happiness and you can be really happy in the midst of so many problems if you can make your partner happy.
