Ok, most people learn their lessons from this economic crisis. Now, they tend to shop smartly; buying things that this necessary, and nothing else. Not like before, people intends to buy fashionable items which they don't really need. Home Depot recently being increasing their sales, because most people intend to do their own home improvement. What about you, do you also change your shopping habits? Shop for what you really need at the moment?

i agree with your opinion, in the present economic crisis. Peoples are more frugal in their shopping, about home improvement?? i guess not all do that, especially for those houses do not need the fix.

Hello my dear clorissa, as I've mentioned before the value of saving cannot be underestimated and what you really need is to save all that hard earned money of yours and learn not to fritter (I hope you took my tip about the coffee flask and stopped indulging in that expensive coffee habit of yours.) And if you take the bus as I've recommended to you many times my dear then you'd save money for those little treats you need like those nice new gloves you'll be wanting soon.

yes i became wise now as i experienced financial constraints. i also make sure that only buy my needs and my wants. i also already learn how to handle finances unlike before when i was still a student. the story became different when one gets his own job and manages his own bucks. you will be having critical thoughts on as yo how will you be able to balance finances and other expenditures.

I think I change a lot. The reasons are not only the credit crisis, also my personal financial situation. Now I have no job so I can not shop as before I did. Now I just go shopping food weekly and always pay attention on the promotion. I also try my best to cook at home instead of going out. When it’s involving clothes I less to pay attention on brand, also I mostly buy casual clothes than official dress. It made my life easier and the cost less. So unemployment really has some advantage.

Hi clorissa123,As with many others I have had to change my shopping habits but this was happening way before all the other lot started. Every now and then when I go shopping I can get something extra. When Shopping I check the prices every so often. You have to do this. Shopping in at least three different places now to make the money stretch further and have not been shopping at the Butchers for meat in ages. Shopping has become a bit of a bind. Shopping like this makes you use your ingenuity too. Shopping in big Supermarkets now can be quite deceptive with those buy two and get one free stuff going on also. All that glitter is´nt gold. Shopping has made me more money concious than ever and you also have to check your receipt to make sure that they have given you the right money. But now in these Shopping places you have to check your receipt before you go out of the Door otherwise they will not attend you if you go out and go back ssy three hours later with a complaint. Shopping keeps you on your toes.
