ATI and Nvidia, are they get along well?

hello guys....i'm a gamer, i love to play games, i own a computer and full of games inside. now i'm using AMD processor with nvidia chipset for my pc. i'm going to make a new computer, so i own two. i've already bought a new motherboard, but i made a mistake, i bought an Abit motherboard with crossfire and ATI chipset. considered that i'm going to use my Nvidia graphic card in my new computer. so i just want to know from you guys, is it okay to put my nvidia card into ATI mainboard? just to avoid any unwanted problem. for any you who experienced this, please help me...
