ugh! I came over to the local bookstore/coffee shop to try to work. I had no idea that this many people were here throughout the day time hours! I am having a hard time thinking and concentrating as there are all these "groups" meeting here. It's not like just a lot of people, but I have seen like 4 different whole groups using this as a meeting place! One group in particular is like 6 people and they are not quiet at all. I don't understand why a place that is supposed to be condusive to quiet and studying is so loud! Ever been in a situation like this? Did you just pack up and leave or what did you do?

Hi ya macdingolinger
Well I guess as it is a public area it is going to get noisy. I can't say that I have had this problem myself as for me if I want some peace and quiet I wait til my kids go to bed then all is well lol
. Maybe you should think about going to a library instead adn it is generally a quieter place to be but I don't think you can grab a coffee there can you? Oh well good luck on finding a more suitable place for some peace!!

Yeah the library would be great. The problem is that they don't open early enough and they also don't have the coffee available! Yikes! That's two strikes already. I guess I will have to limit my activity to earlier in the day so that there isn't too many people there.

To work at a coffee shop is a bit risky because we can always come across some people who are meeting over there,i have been in a coffee shop before where I was planning to finish my assignment before the next class start and I wanted to open my laptop to work on it but shortly after I had no choice but to close it again and go somewhere else to work because there were too much noises.
