Much to the relief of many people in the UK, Big Brother has finally been axed due to poor ratings. There will be one more season next year and a celebrity BB and then that will be it.
How has Big Brothered faired in your part of the world? Is it a continued success or was it given the chop after the first season?

It took me a while to get into BB this year. Usually in the past I have watched it pretty much from the first week through to the end. Okay yes I know it is mindless viewing but for me it is just relaxing really. I did hear about the UK version being axed. Not sure how I feel about it really, but like I said, I have not been the biggest BB follower this year so I don't feel overly upset by it.

Hi there UK_Shree
I must admit that I usually watch and like you have not been able to get into it much this year. I have been away on most of the eviction nights and some of the shows during the week. I have enjoyed watching it in the past regardless of what others views of it are but it does seem to have had it's day. Looks like another chanel will pick it up though, Sky probably!!
Thanks for your response

I think it is still on but i have never watched it. Of course it would be re-runs right now but i think it's still on here.

This year in the US big brother has had it's ups and downs. But I sure do hope they don;t axe it! I would hate hate hate it! Bb is a great show and I rather enjoy the anticks.

We are at BB11 this year. Many have said this could be the last one. I sure hope not. They did extend the finale to 2 hours and that is why many say it wil be the last season.

Wow! Here in the U.S. Big Brother has been around since the Pilgrims! LOL! Seriously, though, it seems to have always been an immensely popular show. In the early 90's I used to watch it a lot, but, my interest in the show waned and I haven't watched it since. I have no idea why it's such a big hit here.

Hi there kellyjeanne
I think the answer to your question is that you have many more chanels that can carry it. Here in the UK we still have 5 main chanels but I think BB will be moved over to another station and will become low budget. This was the 10th BB for us, it started in 1999 here.
