The Year of the Nurse - Hawthorne and Nurse Jackie

I know, I'm a bit late with this since both of these shows have already had their first season finales but I thought I'd ask if anyone else here watched one or both of these great series. They both started the same week, I think I watched the premieres within a day or so of each other, so I found myself getting the two mixed up at first. I'd be thinking one of the doctors or nurses other than the title characters were on the other show! Hawthorne stars Jada Pinkett-Smith and Nurse Jackie stars Edie Falco of The Sopranoes. The latter is a thirty minute comedy with some drama thrown in. The title characters of both shows are nurses and very strong women. Christina Hawthorne is a widow with a teenage daughter and Jackie is married with two young daughters and a lover on the side who helps supply her with the pain killers she's addicted to. My only complaint about either show is that the season ended too quickly! Any comments? Annie
