I know, I'm a bit late with this since both of these shows have already had their first season finales but I thought I'd ask if anyone else here watched one or both of these great series. They both started the same week, I think I watched the premieres within a day or so of each other, so I found myself getting the two mixed up at first. I'd be thinking one of the doctors or nurses other than the title characters were on the other show!
Hawthorne stars Jada Pinkett-Smith and Nurse Jackie stars Edie Falco of The Sopranoes. The latter is a thirty minute comedy with some drama thrown in. The title characters of both shows are nurses and very strong women. Christina Hawthorne is a widow with a teenage daughter and Jackie is married with two young daughters and a lover on the side who helps supply her with the pain killers she's addicted to. My only complaint about either show is that the season ended too quickly!
Any comments?

I haven't seen either of these shows. Too often I get involved in a new show and they yank it off the air. I would rather read a good book. If I don't like it I can stop at any time.

Hi annie! I unfortunatly only watched Hawthorne twice and then
forgot to watch the season finale! That's one of my problems,
I forget when the shows are on that I like! I loved Hawthorne!
I watched for the first time when I was in Florida with my
Mom! Then I watched it once when I got home, by accident! And
missed the finale of course! Nurse Jackie, I think is on a
channel that I don't get, but I'm not sure! So that one I
never saw! I hope that I will remember to watch Hawthorne next
season because it was a really good show!
