Is it weird to be waken up by a song lingering on the mind in the middle of sleep at night? It happened to me the night before last. I like the song, its a sad love song. But I havent sung it for a long time. Its about monologue of a heartbroken man ,asking his girl not to leave if she loves him.Its a Chinese song. Has it ever happened to you,be waken up by a song?lol And what you think on this?Pls feel free to talk.

In the past I used to wake with a feeling that there is somebody playing music in the other room,, but it was just the player in my bedroom,or the tv sometimes,,soothing music was always cool

It has happened to me several times. I suddenly wake up in the middle of the night and a tune comes to my mind after which i fall asleep. When i wake up in the morning then the same tune comes to my mind and it keeps repeating the whole day. Or sometimes when i wake up in the morning a tune comes to the mind and keeps repeating the whole day.The explanation for this is, at night when we sleep our subconcious mind starts working . So when we hum a tune at night and then fall asleep the song gets buried in the subconcious mind and then comes to the fore when we wake up.When we wake up the concious mind takes over from the subconcious mind and so the song which is "recorded" at night starts playing automatically. Understood? There is nothing weird about it since it is scientific.

Oh yes and most of the time I feel sad hearing a love song at the middle of the night, but I want to continue listening to it. This brings back past memories with your loves ones who are no longer around.

Dreams are a very real connection the subconscious mind uses to try and get our wakened selves to pay attention to things that are going on in our lives that we may not yet be aware of. It is not at all uncommon for a song to be one of those messages we send ourselves. Think about the tune you wake up with and see if you can't figure out what you are trying to tell yourself from the dream remembrance.
