Do people still use pens?

Yes, as you rightly said, sometimes nothings beats down a pen and a paper. i don't write with pen because it has advantages or not but because for the fun of writing. Pens never are going to become extinct. Even in technology, they are reappearing in the form of stylus on a touch screen or a pencil on a drawing pad. But of course the classic pen never disappears. And in particular, I am very much fond of writing with a fountain pen (ink pen, as it is commonly known). I enjoy very much myself writing with a fountain pen. The writing experience given by a very costly ball point pen can be experienced even by a cheap fountain pen. But it has got it's own disadvantages like leaking when pressure differences arise or if you run very hardly keeping it in pockets but otherwise it is best.

I love pens, I have drawers full. I like to write things out by hand.

You atleast need them to sign atleast important documents.Other than that I think it will be used only by students.I dont think it will be completely extinct but as you said obsolete.

pens are in my everyday life. I write something down everyday because there is something i need to write down so i won't forget it. Sometimes i might type up a grocery list then sometimes i will write it out and of course that requires a pen. I think people out there in the work environment use pens all day long. Even me for instance I'm not in the work environment but i do like writing and doing so on associated content and before i type up my article i usually write down things on a piece of paper so i can get a better view of things that i can type about.

I don't think that pens will ever vanish. Because there is a limit of extend to technologies as of now & If we want to write something simple,we cant expect to carry a laptop or something like that to the grocery shop! Happy Lotting
