Do you notice that every weekend, the activity here in myLot decline dramatically? Usually in weekdays, I see the new topic notification in top of the page changes every few minutes, but in weekend, now I even see that topic which posted 55 minutes ago still in the new topic list! I also see that the responses and comments here moving slowly. I usually get few responses every hour but during weekend it is rarely do so. My fellow myLotters, do you notice the same? Do you have any suggestion what myLot can do to increase the activity here during the weekend? Drop it here!

Yes, I have noticed this aspect. I suppose that people are spending time with friends, family, and such, and aren't spending as much time on mylot on the weekend as they do during the week. To be honest, I think that there's much to be done. The amount of activity, which goes on on the weekends, is really up to the members.

I realy do not see that much of a change on the weekends. I typicial see more activity on the weekends when people are off from work. that is when I get more e-mail notifactions for the disscussions my friends have started. I ussley see lesss activity during he weekdays. maybe it is me but that is how I am seeing it for now.

Oh scififan, your view is really different from me.. Maybe because I also not active here during weekends, means that I usually do not post any discussion topics, I see that during weekend it is really slow:) Thanks for your response!

Hi Sophisticated_boy, go in and find some really old discussions to respond too and you'll soon change the order of the lists and either make someone happy or ruin their day as they groan at the thought of having to deal with that old turkey. No point in hanging around looking for new ones if nothing is moving, just get creative

Yeah thea, I have qute a few discussion I haven't responded yet. Sure will follow your advise although not sure I will open myLot this weekend cause having an appointment with my friends for the whole week...I think we also can do the task if you want to put an effort on it

uhm...i guess i am not as observant as you are soph..
but if so...it might mean people are out somewhere on the weekends.
The few onles left are those who don't go out that much like me.
But is that gonna affect our earnings?

I don't think it will affect our earnings pat since myLot counts every single post we make and not based on our daily posting ratio.
If it is counting daily posting, I am sure my earning will be pretty bad since it's very fluctuative lol...

This is my first weekend on mylot (last weekend should have been but I was busy lol) and it does seem a little slower, though I guess it will be a good chance to catch up on things since I am quite behind on commenting! On a person level I am definitely around more on the weekdays because the weekends are freer for me so I can be more active in the real world, whereas on the weekdays I tend to be in company a lot so the Internet, and mylot, is a good means to escape.
I think in order to increase actively on mylot in the weekends the creators would have to make it rain everywhere all at once, people are probably more likely to come on if the real world looks dark and gloomy lol! Failing that I agree with the suggestion of cash incentives, I would definitely make a note to come on regardless if I knew I would be paid more lol!

Yeah, in weekdays I am more exposed to computer and internet therefore I am much more active in myLot than the weekend. I also tend to go with my friends or family in weekend since basically since working, that's my free time. Also, myLot is a great break from work to work :) I'm opening myLot much often than facebook these days lol. Thanks for the response!

It is good to know that I am not the only one who has deserted facebook in favour of mylot. I completely stopped using it when I became active here, there was no time lol

A lot of people must be mylotting while they are at work I suppose, you'd think there would be more activity on a weekend with everyone being at home. It's a bank holiday weekend here mind you so lots of people will be out, though the weather isn't very good it's quite cold so a few must have stayed in. I read earlier that there's going to be problems with traffic as so many people will be travelling.

I guess it is true, many people are exposed to computers during work, so on the weekends they get rest from staring computers and going somewhere with their friends or family. I think on Sunday, MyLot become active again since many people choose to rest at home and maybe at night do myLotting again. What's bank holiday? Hope you enjoy last weekend!

yes i have noticed that it is slower during the weekends too. and i also noticed that my earnings do not post during the weekends either which i find annoying. i like to see them adding up on a daily basis weekends or not.

With regards to what mylot can do to increase activity, maybe they can give away bonuses or special prizes that will be drawn via electronic email. A little extra cash can attract mylotters to visit the site during weekends hehe.

ya its really very slow in weekends the reason is
at this days most of the users are online and it produces great load on
their servers causing their servers slow.
I think in coming days mylot will be moved to more powerful servers
and provide its users with great speed of posting and no more waiting time

Hm... I don't know, Usually in week end, I will go out with my friends to had a good time, if I don't get out with my friends, I always on-line from the morning till the evening. I think in a week end most people hang out with their friends or their family to had a good time, so Just a little man who on-line

I haven't been on for about 3 day's so I most likely will find lot's of thing's to do. I am sure if you just go look at some of the interest's that you normally wouldn't go into, that you would find some thing's. I try and check out some new interest's when I think it's slow in here.
