Hi friends,
You know china is the finest and best porcelain, originated from Chang Nan (sounds like China), a town located at the South (nan) of Nanchang (chang) City, the capital of Jiangxi Province. Now Chang Nan is a big city called Jingdezhen.
So, thats China.
But how much do you know about China?

I know that the majority of people from China seak Mandarin. Only a minority speak Cantonese. I also noticed that a lot of goods that are sold in Canada originated from China. So there must be a lot of manufacturing companies there. I also know that a lot of students were killed in a protest many years ago. As well, it is a communist country. China is becoming econically stronger and I think it will become the most powerful country in about a decade and beat out US of being the strongest country. I'm born in Canada, but both my parents are from a small village in China. I've never been there before.

It's really the village my parents come from. To be honest my cantonese really mixed with a little yun ping, hong kong accent, and Canadian accent. My dad moved away from China and to Canada when he was about 16 years old, and his brother and sister are born in Canada. My mom moved away from China to Hong Kong when she was in her early 20's so she has a hong kong accent and very little yun ping. All of the chinese friends are born here and speak english all the time. I want to try to improve my Cantonese, I can speak it okay enough, but not fluently as I would like.

Um, I hate to admit it, but I do not know anything about China. I live in the US and I am not familiar with anything more than Chinese restaurants here.

I don't know much about China except that it is an ancient civilization and had some problems with the cultural revolution. I also know it guarded the art of silk making for many centuries. I would love to visit China one day. I would like to visit the great wall and the Terracotta soldiers. It must be an amazing site.
