Repeating discussions

I know you are not allowed to start 2 discussions the same, it is against the guidelines. But we all make so many discussions on here each day, each week and each month that surely, 12 months from now we wont remember what discussions we have already made, especially general ones.
Like if i started a discusion now, then in a years time wrote an incredibly similar one, would mylot still get angry? Would it still count as repeating a discussion and therefor be breaking the rules?

I think you would be okay and it seems that Mylot is pretty good about giving everyone a warning the first time, especially for something mild like this. After re-reading the guidelines, I think they are just trying to deter people who would take advantage of the situation and post their discussion, say 'Make Easy Money', in every money section thinking that they would earn more or get more benefits. Once, when I started, I posted an identical discussion, but in two (and ONLY two!) different sections. I was looking for feedback on whether to start a blog about rescue groups and needed both the cat and dog people's opinions. MyLot never called me down on it, so it was either overlooked or considered okay. As long as you aren't blantantly repeating the same thing over and over and over and over, then I'll think you'll be okay. Happy Mylotting! :)
