I didn't know of this book or Anne Rice until this movie came out. I was hooked. I then decided to read the book. While it was different from the movie, I though the book was much better. I kept reading and reading. I love Anne Rice books.

I love the Vampire Chronicle series. I haven't read them all but I love them. I love how Anne Rice describes vampires, their powers, feelings, and desires. Besides Dracula by Bram Stoker, Anne Rice version of vampires is classic and elegant. It is something that you can get hooked with.

The Vampire Chronicles of Anne Rice is something we all agree to as good. Her take on the vampire myth is original and very innovative. I would recommend for those who have not read the entire series to do so. It is a significant contribution to modern literature.

Same here. i so love Anne rice books and i think the Vampire chronicles is the best vampire series ever. The plot is so different and compelling. I love the way Lestat rationalize what he does. i love the philosophical discussions. I love everything about it. And like any other book to movie novels, the book is a lot better.

I do agree the book was much better than the movie. There was much more to the book then the movie and the book was more thrilling also. Anne Rice is a very good author. She knows how to put her words and stories together.
