Did you ever eat raw squid?

Howdy! I used to fish for squid a lot. I would occasionally bite off a tentacle or two from a freshly-caught squid for a snack. The meat is almost candy-sweet when fresh. Have you ever tried it? What was your opinion of the taste?

Me and raw meat don't really agree that much... although I can't say I would even be willing to try squid if it was cooked.
