I have used both before, and i'm actually fine with both of them.. haha =D Using a vaccuum might be more convenient and easier, but there are some areas which it cant be reached with a vaccum cleaner.. hehe ^_^ Though a broom is slower and takes time, but it really makes the whole house cleaner, by sweeping all those unseen areas. haha =D It will be best to be using a broom to sweep, before using a vaccuum to finish up the whole cleaning.. haha =D After which, mop it and i'll be done.. hehe

hi kun...instead of using a broom and a vaccum..better used a vaccum and a mop... mop the place for three times..over and over then lastly vaccum it.. its much cleaner and shiny and it takes away every little dust in the house... try it..thats what i do..in cleaning my house.. have a nice day..

Hey acie, I like to use the vacuum as the broom will only make the dust fly about and us sneezing everywhere. But I make sure the vacuum I use is the cordless type. I dont like it when the cords get tangled while I am vacuuming. Sometimes, when I forget to charge the vacuum, I have no choice but to sweep the floor. I also have no choice but to sweep the outdoors as I dont use vacuum for the outdoors. It is just too crazy to do! :)

Hello acie, my preference without doubt would be neither but rather to be able to leave the house and let someone come in and do the tedious work for me. Sadly that is not possible so the broom becomes the weapon of choice although here it is more usually referred to as a sweeping brush. The broom is employed as the floor are tiled so a vacuum really wouldn't help much but would rather produce an intensely irritating noise.

i use broom, because it is cheap and easy to use, and you don't need to use electricity, the cleaning of the house is not very complicated.

Hi acie_21 I prefer broom! Maybe because it has already my habit to clean rooms with brooms. Plus, my family don't have any carpet, so it doesn't need vacuum to be cleaned. I have tried to use vacuum and yes, I agree with you that it's easier and can save time! I like its sound and when it sucked all the dust! So far I don't have problem in using broom, so still I prefer broom! Hope you can clean your room happily with your vacuum

i prefer broom than vaccum, cause there is no plug to electricity and carry the device where ever i move in the home. and waste of power and noise pollution. sinusitis could be because of allergy problem.please get in touch with allergy specialist doctors for a medicines.

I prefer the broom because it does not need to consume electricity, therefore I get more savings. Besides vacuum cleaners are kinda noisy so they are not very comfortable for our ears

I got a vaccum cleaner for my wife, who found it quite uncomfortable using it. So we have gone back to using the good old broom and duster. The problem is we do not even use the washing machine for washing our clothes, since our servant does not know how to use it and she does all the washing by hand.

hi rameshkumaar.. does your servant knows how to vaccum to? or your wife does it...? vaccum is very easy to take all the dust away..but to make it much cleaner mopping will help a lot.. take care friend..

I much more prefer vacuum over broom and dustpan. It's quick and easy, unlike broom, where you have to sweep and try to get it all in the dustpan. I prefer one of those light weight vacuums though, so I don't have to push so much, and it could be easier going up the stairs with it.

When I used to have a carpet, I had to use vacuum. Now that I have got rid of the carpet, I prefer to use sweeper and groom, which will serve cleaning purpose just as well. Down here the construction sites going on all the time, no other way but direct cleaning by groom is a much better choice.

Hi there and smile. Well i dont have a vaccum so i use broom to clean my room and apartment. I also use wet cloth to clean all furnitures so they dont have dust. Im also allergic to dust thats why i am using hanky to cover my nose all the time. I also think that my eyes gets irritated when the place is so dusty so i always use my eyeglass as protection. Its funny because its like i have to cover my entire face just to clean without suffering from it. When i move to my husband place, he have a vaccum so that will make the task easier for me. Happy mylotting and smile always!

hi iamsolucky... i suggest try to use feather duster than a wet cloth cause using a wet cloth carries more dust to the furnitures.. dust sticks to the wet cloth that you wiped in your furniture... and better use a mask than a cloth.. inorder that you can move freely with out being disturb on what your doing.. keep posting!

I prefer the broom because it can easily scrub attached dirt on the floor. If I'm using the vaccum, it is useful for carpets only. My parents taught how to clean the house manually.

I prefer brooming because i have never been so much habitual to technology that i clean my house with a machine, wash my utensils with machines and even clothes, i dont feel like i am actually working.I dont like to use machinery everywhere and also i cant feel my home is cleaned, i broom whole of my house and the swob the floors every morning it makes home look clean and feel fresh.
