I enjoyed them all and even the films were pretty good. But the best one? Well I enjoyed the first the most - The Philosephers Stone - because it was so fresh and inventive and had lots of humour. The other books were fine but I have re-read the first one most of all.

the films are ok but nowhere near as good as the books and the deathly hallows is far the best

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was the best book and since it will be divided into a two part movie I know it'll be the best movie as well.

Deathly Hallows is far the best from HP series, a lot of action and humor... and Dobby still being heroic and all... RIP Dobby, a Free Elf.

I absolutely love the Harry Potter books. I'm not too keen on the films though. When I reread them I'm not too keen on the first three as it seems, to me, that they lack as much story and excitement, although they are important to build the groundwork for the rest of the books. My favourite is probably the 7th, I think because it's format is so different than the others. Although I absolutely detested the eiplogue, I thought it was terrible.
