Is there a song that you remember being the real first song that you paid attention to on the radio as a child? For me it was "I Love Rock n Roll" by Joan Jett. I also remember "Mickey" by Toni Basil, probably since I related to Mickey Mouse then !

When I was a child I don't listen to the radio very often because our landlady don't allowed us to use electricity so much because all of her tenants shared the payment of electric bill. The first song that I remember during my chilhood years I Swear, Waiting for your love, the songs of Boys to men and Bryan Adams.

I remember hearing Boys 2 Men and Bryan Adams also, but I was a little older then. I also didn't listen to the radio to much as a child. But I would hear some songs on the radio when I went to an arcade or restaurant. Thanks for sharing!

I first remember hearing mary had a little lamb on the phonograph. That was extremely amazing, and I think the most epic thing that I have witnissed. It was in 1877 and I was just 3 years old.

I have no idea. I remember being really young, probably six or seven, and spending hours, literally, sitting next to the stereo listening to an AM station that played "golden oldies" so it could have been anything! Music has been in my blood for my whole life it seems.
