Why are we here? What do you think?

Sometimes I sit and wonder to myelf, as I am sure many of you have. I wonder why we are here and what our purpose is. I wonder if I refrain from doing the things I have been taught will possibly forfeit my ticket to a better afterlife for no reason at all.. All of time I think that we have no purpose and we are lucky for everyday we get on this planet, other times I think that everything around me is completly amazing and their has to be a bigger plan. But i always contradict myself, I am not a child, not a "crazy" person, I am a wife, a daughter, a mother of 4 and I am fascinated with everything. But I am slo nosey and feel the need to know everything, it kills me not to know the "unexplained" things of this world. It also bothers me that because of income restrictions or what have you, I will never get to see this entire planet before I die. I want to see every square inch and know everything possible! In a way I feel held back, sometimes I feel like I am misplaced in my life or like I belong to a different time. Does anyone else ever feel this way? Do you ever wonder? Or am I the only one? I always wonder if people who go through life without questioning things trually are happier then those of us who need to know and question things. Please dont think that I am not religious or spirtual, that is not what this question is about.

I know exactly why I am here, because I am so bored all the time since I have moved in here, I odn't work anymore, I don't have much to do while my partner is away... so I figure I could participate on mylot as well as receiving some little earnings each month. My purpose on mylot is pretty much killing time everyday... I don't hope for making big bucks here at all because it is impossible.

Just do something you should do,not the things you want to do!

I firmly believe that we are here for a reason. Before our spirits came to this world, we used to live in a world like this one where we lived with that Supreme Being who a created us. We were sent here to this earth to prove ourselves if we are worthy to still live with him and inherit all the things that He has. We are here because we passed our first state. And Lucifer, the son of the morning, the devil, did not pass that first state (one third of all the spirits came with him) so he didn't have the chance to have a mortal body and live with a body on this earth. But his spirit is also here with us. And for a deep jealousy in our body, evil spirits sometimes wanted to possess us. If they could not, they would just persuade us to do all evil things in this world so we will be damned like them. After this life, we will be judged according to our works in this life.

Yes, don't we all feel hopeless sometimes. The world is such a wonderful place to be in and to visit. If only money resources is unlimited. We all have a reason to be here. The Lord knows. There is a purpose you are placed here to be a wife and a mother. There must be a great commission for you too.I believe so. So, do good in whatever we are involved in. Be nice to the poor;to the destitute and to the sick. God Bless. Amen.

Of course everyone wonders. It is a natural human instinct to wonder, especially the unexplainable. Even those who appear to be strong in their faith or beliefs have times where they falter. I myself have pondered the purpose of life and come to the ocnclusion that our purpose is what we choose it to be. However, all things can be boiled down to one concept, relativity. Learn to accept that you will never ever know for sure, and will only find peace once you do so.

Hi jimmyreyna4, Believe me you are not alone in this, I've been questioning since I was a child. Sometimes I envy people who never seem to be bothered by such things, but than I find another who think as I do and nothing can compare to the joy that I find in such discussions. I am a spiritual person, and while I feel that many questions won't be answered here, many great adventures lie ahead. Blessings.
