Hi, I was wondering. Anyone have any ideas as to what one could do with alot of felt scraps or know of any sites with free patterns and such? I've been pondering for a few days, but the most interesting idea I could find was the penny rugs. Does anyone make them? Thanks for any suggestions.

my suggestion to you would to be to scour your local library and see if there are any ideas there. i think i have seen a book on how to make stuffed animals out of felt plus what about making a crazy quilt?

I am really leaning toward the penny rugs...they look interesting, and well, if I can get good enough, they seem to bring in a nice sum of money, at least enough to make it worth the time invested. I am a screen printer, and would have access to just about all the scrap felt I wanted from work, albeit, most wouldn't be that big really. We also flock most of our products, and I think if I talked to my boss, he'd cut me a good deal for the artwork and screening, and let me use the shop and print whatever designs I wanted.

go to about.com and you should be able to find a pattern for something.....I know I hate wasting anything....so they might have an idea or two.
